Where Does The Idea Of Wanting A Great Car Come From?
If you ask anyone what kind of car they would really like to own I can almost bet money that they would ask for something fast, something that looks good and something (in many male cases) that would attract the ladies to the driver. So where on earth does this idea come from?
Games
Games such as Forza and GT are getting much more realistic as they get older and I cannot wait for the new GT to arrive. For me no game on the PS3 can replace something on the Xbox even though I have both consoles. It is true to say that people sit down and play one of these games and would love to have the car they are using. People do not only get to say just how good the car would look in reality (thanks to advancements in graphics) they also get a feel of the way the car would react on the road.
Childhood
I remember the days in which I sat playing with the model cars I had been bought and thinking I would simply love to own this Ferrari or something along those lines. The idea of getting a really cool car is almost imprinted into the mind at this stage of your life, is this a good thing. For people my age this is where all of the thoughts came from as a child, there was nothing with graphics decent enough to make you want the car.
Celebrities
If you are a keen celebrity follower you will know how important having something like their car would be pretty cool, this influences people a lot when it comes to car buying. A lot of people would be very happy that they own the same car as someone famous.
Of course realistically this is not going to happen and people are struggling to get a car on something like bad credit car finance or bad credit car leasing. Other options like gap insurance and car leasing are out there to help people who want that fast car.
